Power Gems debuts latest ballasts at BIRTV in China

For the first time, Power Gems will be at the Beijing International Radio, TV & Film (BIRTV) show, to be held on 24-27 August.

We’re looking forward to attending the show and displaying the full range of high speed ballasts to the Chinese market for the first time.

While we’re not exhibiting ourselves, our show partners, Cheng Seng will be presenting Power Gems products on their booth.

Patrick McGuane, owner of Power Gems who heads up the sales division, will be on hand throughout the show to meet visitors and showcase key features, such as Autoscan for filming at 1,000Hz, and the unique modular design.

The latest additions to the Power Gems range includes the 3kW Xenon modular ballast DC300P for entertainment applications, and our industry-first, a 19” rack-mounted ballast offering 4 outputs of 1800W supply.

We’re anticipating that the EB1812P 18kW ballast will prove as popular in China as it has with film, TV and entertainment professionals worldwide. Sales over the last 12 months have been phenomenal, following its launch at Cine Gear 2015.

We can’t wait to be at BIRTV, to hear first-hand about the challenges of the market. That insight will inform future product development – at Power Gems we either have a solution or we’re working on one.
