A flaming June is truly underway at Power Gems HQ with two hot new releases. You’ve already had a sneak preview of the Rolling Rack Series 19” rack-mounted ballast. Here we present the DC300P 3000W Xenon ballast – based on the same impressive modular design for ease of maintenance – but with one notable difference.
Most of our ballast modules power AC, the latest addition is a 3,000W Xenon for energy-efficient use with DC lamps. The compact and lightweight ballast is suitable for DC lamp applications such as solar simulation, scientific equipment, industrial processing and entertainment.
Perfect for stage lighting for theatre fixtures and architectural installation, the newest member of the popular Power Gems family is easily integrated into OEM equipment.
We know that accommodating a ballast isn’t easy – they take up valuable space, produce heat, create noise, and can give you EMC problems. That’s why we use the latest circuit techniques to design compact, efficient products which run cooler – and produce minimal EMI.
The DC300P is power factor corrected and capable of operating on universal input voltages (90-265V) when driving a 2kW lamp. Available for use in parallel to operate lamps up to, and beyond, 10kW. Download the DC300P Datasheet
