Power Gems upgrades ballast testing and repair facilities in Manchester
A major step forward was taken at Power Gems, as we added engineers and expanded the area used to test and repair our range of high speed ballasts. Work at Power Gems headquarters in Manchester, UK, began in September to reconfigure the workshop, creating more space and a better workflow. We create every aspect of our ballasts, which means increasing the number of test engineers sitting alongside our assembly points. We also added more repair stations and upgraded the in-house ballast testing facilities; you can see the results below.
We create every aspect of our ballasts, which means increasing the number of test engineers who sit alongside our assembly points, all under one roof. The upgraded facilities will ensure engineers are able to test and repair the full range of ballasts, and allow for further expansion in the team. This year we created new jobs, and intend to strengthen our engineering and manufacturing team with more new hires, to be more responsive to customers.
