Power Gems at Stage|Set|Scenery 2017
The Power Gems theatre range came to the market at the first Stage|Set|Scenery in 2015. This year the international trade show for stage and event technology, which is held every two years, saw 274 companies showcasing theatre, film and event technology. Some 6,000 trade visitors passed through the doors of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds (below) over the three days, between 20 and 22 June 2017.
People are starting to take notice of the STS Lighting packages for theatre and opera, perhaps down to Stefan Schmidt’s enthusiastic demonstration of how Power Gems and K5600 Lighting have designed HMI systems with low light leakage, packaged with mechanical dimming shutters and low noise ballasts.
Ballasts in the theatre range include:
- EB960P: 9kW for dramatic and powerful lighting effects
- EB425PL: Ultra lightweight and super quiet theatre version of our popular 4,000W ballast
- EB250PR & EB425PR: Dual wattage 2.5kW and 4kW 19” rack-mounted ballasts – compact ballasts yet loaded with advanced features developed for permanent installation.
