New Power Gems dealer appointed – Grau Luminotecnia in Spain
Power Gems welcomes Grau Luminotecnia as an official dealer for the Power Gems range in Spain.
Grau Luminotecnia has well-established relationships with rental companies across Spain, so you can look forward to more places to find the latest and best electronic high speed ballasts.
At the start of the Summer, our Head of Sales, Patrick McGuane was approached by Alfons Grau Pitarch who owns the Barcelona-based film lighting equipment company, with a view to meeting the demand from Spain for the latest film equipment.
Alfons says:
“Power Gems has 10 different models of portable HMI electronic ballasts, plus many other versions such as the 19” rack mounted ballasts, which, with only 4 models can feed all HMI market heads and, of course, are what we recommend.
• EB180P: 575 / 800 / 1200 / 1800W ballast
• EB425PL: 1200 / 1800W and 2500 / 4000W ballast
• EB960P: 2500 / 4000W and 6000 / 9000W ballast
• EB1812P: 6kW / 9 kW and 12kW / 18kW ballast.”
In particular, Alfons was impressed with Power Gems’ long standing relationship with Aluzine, now part of Southern Sun, and the latest in a series of orders from lighting rental company Cinelux for both its Madrid and Barcelona facilities. Alfons had heard first hand from Juan Garcia about Cinelux’s experience of coming over from Spain to Power Gems HQ, last May, for factory training. He also values the special relationship we have with K5600 to develop ballasts for the Joker Bug lighting range – Grau are the official K5600 Spanish dealer.
Grau Luminotecnia was founded in 1984 and is a significant player in the Spanish TV, cinema and photography lighting market.
