18000W Electronic Ballast – ARRI 18K and CMC 18K

The EB1812P GEN 2 is the next generation of Power Gems’ bestselling 12kW/18kW high speed ballast, designed to operate in high humidity. Capable of operating any lamp from 6kW to 18kW, with 300Hz and 1000Hz operation as standard.

The rugged EB1812P GEN 2 offers proven reliability, safety and stability when operating in extreme environments – in high humidity, wind and rain – and has a unique modular design for easy maintenance. The power components can be interchanged in a few minutes, ensuring the EB1812P GEN 2 is always ready for use.

The PCB boards are coated with an advanced water and corrosion-resistant fluoropolymer to protect against condensation. The EB1812P GEN 2 is fitted with silicon carbide components, greatly reducing heat build-up within units – less heat generated offers greater reliability. Temperature-controlled fans ensure proper operation in high ambient temperatures.

The power circuits are designed to tolerate huge voltage fluctuations to keep the product running under the harshest power supply conditions. In addition, the EB1812P GEN 2 is considerably lighter and smaller than any unit currently available on the market.
