CINEC, LDI and Power Gems inspiration
Power Gems will showcase the latest developments in ballast technology at the upcoming Live Design International (LDI) event, October 21-23, in Las Vegas, NV.
Come along to the Canto USA stand, Booth 2765 to see the new XE300P, a 3kW/2kW Xenon ballast for energy-efficient use with DC lamps. Patrick McGuane and Phil Ellams will be on hand to answer any questions.
LDI makes a nice contrast to CINEC held earlier this month in Munich, with a shift from Europe and the broadcasting and motion picture industry towards the entertainment market in North America.
Power Gems ballasts have been used in broadcasting, filming, theatre and live events for over 20 years. We’ve been going to LDI, started in 1988, to meet the global entertainment industry for nearly as long. It’s a show we never tire of, a chance to hear your experiences of using our products.
They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. This is particularly true of the sunshine which will not be following Patrick and Phil back for the gloomy UK winter. Not that they will notice as they have their heads down preparing new products, features and travel plans for 2017. But in the meantime let the Margaritas flow, as we head back to The Strip for LDI 2016!
Not a year goes by without a new addition to the Power Gems family or a refresh of existing products – many are regarded as the workhorses of the industry. We continue investing in research and development, in order to bring to market products based on the latest technology and techniques. So it’s nearly time to fire up the test lab and pop the kettle on, but first, the spectacle of LDI and a much-needed boost to Vitamin D levels. We hope to see you there.
