CINEC: Munich weather fails to dampen interest in Power Gems ballasts
One of the big talking points during the summer trade show season has been HDR Imaging (High Dynamic Range Imaging). During CINEC the main topic of conversation – apart from than the lousy Munich weather (see right) – was discharge lighting for high speed photography and the latest challenges for electronic flicker free power supplies enabling use at higher frequencies, 300Hz and 1000Hz.
Patrick and Phil welcomed many old friends and new visitors to our stand (Patrick shown below before the doors opened).
We always enjoy sitting down with our broadcasting and motion picture colleagues to discuss the challenges of modern digital requirements and the lighting tools available on the market place.
This European exhibition September month has been particularly rewarding for Power Gems. Confidence in the market place has seen major investments in Power Gems high speed ballasts, not only in Bavaria and other German regions but also in surrounding mainland Europe countries.
