Power Gems at largest Chinese broadcast trade show
Power Gems will be at this year’s Beijing International Radio, TV & Film Exhibition (BIRTV) showcasing the next generation of high speed ballast.
Patrick McGuane, owner of Power Gems who heads up the sales division, will be on hand to demonstrate the latest portable and rack-mounted ballasts for film and TV lighting. You can find Patrick at Stand no 8B42, with our show partners, China Film Equipment Corporation.
China’s largest broadcast trade show will be held at the China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, from 23 to 26 August. Last year the show attracted 51,800 visitors and 510 exhibitors. Power Gems made its debut, displaying the full range of high speed ballasts to the Chinese market for the first time.
A year later, and Power Gems returns with early success for the EB57P ballast which, uniquely, has 3 output connections for maximum versatility. The EB57P is compatible with a wide range of low power fixtures, to cover Dedo, Kobold, ARRI and K5600 fixtures from one ballast.
The opening of a Power Gems service centre in Shanghai, is another recent development, bringing after sales support closer to the broadcast industry in China.
