Michel Trudel takes delivery of Power Gems ballasts

One of Canada’s largest film production facilities has taken delivery of Power Gems ballasts.

Locations Michel Trudel/Mel’s Cité du Cinéma Studios in the heart of Montreal, received a shipment of 4kW and 18kW ballasts this week.

Mel's Cite du Cinema, MontrealAs well as the advantages of Power Gems ballasts, the Cité boasts 23 sound stages which attract major film productions to Canada including 300, The Life of Pi and The Aviator. The studio recently hosted X-Men: Days of Future Past for 20th Century Fox, drawn to Montreal by Trudel, which is likely to be followed up with X-Men: Apocalypse, filmed at the same studio.

We’ve been quietly supplying Michel Trudel for more than a decade as it services the international and traditional domestic markets. The latest shipment is the first of our new high speed ballasts, EB1812P, since ramping up production last Autumn. It’s a tremendous achievement, to continue to supply the largest lighting rental houses throughout Canada with the latest additions to the Power Gems range of ballasts.
