Power Gems at BSC Expo 2015
The 2015 BSC Expo returned to Pinewood Studios at the end of January, and Power Gems exhibited at the show.
Organised by the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC) the BSC Expo is possibly the biggest event dedicated to the UK production industry. This year it got even bigger with more than 100 companies taking part and a seminar programme held on two stages, at the home of the British film industry, Pinewood Studios outside London.
The event was the busiest show yet and judging by the conversations and orders taken at our booth, the quality of attendees was of a high calibre. Visitors included Panalux, Cinelease UK, PKE Lighting, Pinewood MBS Lighting and Warner Bros Set Lighting. It was fantastic to meet such a wide range of end users from the UK and mainland Europe.

The first big event of the year is always an opportunity to showcase new products. The BSC Expo presents an excellent opportunity to sit down with DPs and Gaffers to discuss the many and varied challenges presented by today’s hectic production schedules.
We displayed our popular range of high speed ballasts including our new design EB1812P (18kW/12kW/9kW/6kW) power supply.
This week sees Patrick and Phil leave a snow-blasted UK for the even colder climes of Canada, to attend William F White’s February Freeze.
