Power Gems attends new film and TV industry event
Munich hosted a brand-new industry trade show, the EuroCineExpo, last weekend. With the cancellation of CINEC in 2020, it was the first event for the European film and TV industry to be held in Germany that Power Gems has attended in two years.
Running over two days (1 to 2 July), the Zenith Hall at Motorworld hosted over a hundred exhibitors and welcomed thousands of visitors from across Europe. Amongst those who came to say hello to Patrick, showcasing the Power Gems range of HMI ballasts, were our old friends, Julien Bernard and Kenny Galerne of K5600 Europe (shown L-R below)
Also, Roberto Sacristan Gomez of Aluzine Madrid Rentals (above) is looking strong with one of our lightweight 12/18K high speed ballasts.
We could also show you, similarly held aloft, the new controller we’ve designed for LED fixtures. The PWM40 is a combined 3kW Power Supply and 40-channel LED driver for sound stage use. But no small children were available to give you an idea of the compact size.
A long time in the planning by the same team behind the BSC Show in London, EuroCineExpo got off to a great start on the Friday living up to its promise of a festival feel with a successful party in the evening. The expo ran at the same time as the Munich Film Festival and is a welcome addition to the trade show circuit.
Next stop for Power Gems?
