We are looking for at least two Electrical & Electronics Assembler/Packing Assistants to join the growing Power Gems team.

About Power Gems

We design and manufacture a range of electronic power supplies for TV and film lighting, solar simulation, high speed photography and event lighting.

It’s a fast-moving market, and we design and launch new products every year. The right candidate will help make and dispatch our range of electronic ballasts – for sale and rental worldwide. The duties will involve preparation of wiring looms, construction of mechanical and electronic assemblies, and packing of the product prior to shipping.

Every ballast or power control unit, we make by hand, so we are looking for people with a keen eye for detail, nimble fingers, and pride in their work.

You’ll be working alongside a team of fully qualified engineers and skilled assemblers who construct and test Power Gems products on site.

What are we looking for?

The role of Electrical & Electronics Assembler/Packing Assistant would suit someone wishing to break into the electronics industry.

A good foundation knowledge of engineering and an interest in electronics would be an advantage.

However, previous experience is not essential as training will be given. It’s more important that you are a friendly, flexible team-worker who is handy with a soldering iron or screwdriver.

We can, and will, provide the training to fill any gap in experience. In certain cases, we provide support for further education and training read about Michal and Des studying at Warrington & Vale Royal College
