Manufacturers usually make ballasts to drive one lamp type – and a maximum of two lamps. Our portable ballasts are designed with versatility in mind, compatible with the connectors for all major manufacturers – including the latest in ARRI’s M series. We can supply and fit all the leading output ballast connectors – STRAND, LTM, DESISTI, MOLE, FILMGEAR, CMC, ARRI. By choosing Power Gems you get the option of using up to two ballast output connectors.

EB85P Dedicated to 575W or 800W light fixtures our new low-noise product is extremely quiet and compact.
EB125P It only needs a single connector to operate up to three different wattages, 575W, 800W or 1200W.
EB180P Fast becoming the industry standard, must-have product the new 1800W ballast can also be used with 575W, 800W and 1200W light fixtures all from one connector. This clever ballast automatically senses lamp voltage and adapts the power accordingly. A dual output socket provides power to drive up to 6 different fixture types – all from the one ballast! A truly versatile tool for your rental stock.
As with all Power Gems products, each unit is capable of operating in high speed lighting applications – the mode button can easily be switched to run at silent, flicker free, 300Hz or 1000Hz frequency. Your call, your choice.
