In memoriam – Turkish dealer, Ozgur Basaran
Everyone at Power Gems is shocked and very sad to receive news of the death of Ozgur Basaran. Ozgur died on 8 July and leaves behind a wife. He was only 37-years-old, and his zest for life will be hugely missed by all who knew him.
Last September, we appointed Ozgur as our authorised dealer for Turkey.
That came on the back of nine years of bumping into Ozgur at various trade shows. Whenever he visited the booth, you were guaranteed an animated discussion which left both parties better informed, and boosted flagging spirits.
Power Gems regard all our dealers as family and Ozgur was no different – he was a very good man and well respected within our film and TV community!
His company Ozgur Light has closed with immediate effect, but we plan on making a further announcement on future sales for Turkey in the near future.
