Appointment: A new face in North America
Dan Basso has joined our Los Angeles facility in Van Nuys, further boosting our sales team. In his newly-created role, Dan has specific responsibility for supporting those of you in the Midwest, North East and Southern States.
Patrick McGuane, who heads up our sales division says:
“We’ve extended our team as part of our continued growth plans in North America. Dan joins us at an important time and his appointment takes us to the next level in the vital support we provide to businesses in the States.”
Born and raised near Chicago, Dan’s career has resulted in repeated moves from east to west coast and back to take on new roles. His previous appointments include Vice President of Sales at Hollywood Rentals, General Manager of Paskal Miami and Head of Northeast Lighting and Grip Operations for Paramount Pictures.
Having previously set up two offices in Atlanta and with experience of developing business in the south and east, Dan’s philosophy for integrity, customer care and love of what he does is sure to drive our American sales team.
His experience spans commercials and music videos, features and television; from the ground floor of the warehouse to the highest level of the production office; from big budget to small independent films including Noah, Spiderman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (New York); Jack Reacher and The Fault in Our Stars (Pittsburgh), Miami Vice and Hoot (Miami); Flight and Blended (Atlanta); to television such as Person of Interest, Unforgettable and Believe (New York) and many more productions around the country.
