Power Gems at LDI 2014
Las Vegas always attracts the star performers. This November was no different with the LDI 2014 show again proving successful in attracting the stars of the entertainment lighting industry. With many of the major manufacturers exhibiting at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, lighting wholesalers and our end user colleagues descended on Vegas keen to discover the latest products to be released onto the market.

Patrick and Phil visited the show over the weekend and were delighted to meet up with friends and colleagues from all aspects of the entertainment sector – from feature film, broadcast to theatre and automated moving touring lights. This year Live Design International set new standards for the turnout from the TV and film industry. Between meetings we managed to catch up with the legendary Jimmy Page of Syncrolite, Jeffrey P Soderberg and fresh from working on the Hunger Games in Atlanta, Katharine Watford Cook of Generate Entertainment & Productions.
LDI is the market place for the entertainment, techology and design industry, the place where the business does business – their strapline not ours! But we do tend to agree.
