Power Gems announces survey results
During the first month of the coronavirus lockdown, many of you took a break from worrying about the state of the film and TV industry and kindly shared your feelings about Power Gems. We’re glad you did, and the results are in.
There was a good spread of responses – from Japan, Croatia, Slovakia, Australia, Germany as well as those of you closer to our facilities in Manchester, UK, and Los Angeles, USA.
We asked how we can improve the aftercare service, and the praise outnumbered the brickbats.
About Manchester, you said: “Sales, service and tech support (Giles in our case) are first class. Companies offering this level of service are few and far between these days.”
And LA: “I’ve always had a great experience with Patrick, Phil, Chip and picking Jeremy’s brain at your Santa Clarita location!”
But we know we could do better for those of you not in the UK or USA. If you’re in Australia and looking for spare parts, you point out the cost and delay of getting them shipped over could offset the value of the parts. We hold our hands up and promise to continue to expand our network of dealers, so you do have a local supplier of parts. If you want to find your nearest dealer, get in touch
New features and improved aftercare
When asked what other products or features you may want to see from Power Gems, one person suggested WDMX. All new (LED) products come fitted with WDMX. In the case of older product, users can plug in a dongle.
We were pleased with the solid response, and that many of you had purchased a ballast or LED controller in the last twelve months. The changes we made to the aftercare in the States seem to have gone down well. That’s the technical term for ‘our research suggests the statistical significance indicates satisfaction’ for how fast we’re turning around repairs and more importantly, you know when you’ll have Power Gems off the bench and back out earning its keep.
Keeping busy during lockdown
Knowing what you need and your preferences is a necessity in our business, and we appreciate your positive and candid responses. We’re making the best use of lockdown, to reflect on what you’ve told us in the survey, in order to make the best experience of buying and using Power Gems ballasts and LED controllers.
