Power Gems ballasts at Micro Salon Italia 2019
The AIC – the Italian Association of Cinematographers – brought Micro Salon Italia back to the legendary Cinecitta Studio Complex in Rome on 22 and 23 March. And Power Gems returned to present the latest in the next generation of ballasts including our new range of LED power supplies.

Each year the show seems to expand, as you can see from this shot taken from the Power Gems booth. In the first year, 2012, there were twelve exhibitors. This year some of the 83 international brands at the show included Sony, Canon, Leica, Panasonic, Fujifilm and our old friends K5600. Over the two days, there were over 4,500 visitors from across the film industry.
Fortunately, Antonio Cazzaniga from ONVIDEO, our Italian sales partner, was on hand to help Pat welcome a steady stream of customers, Directors of Photography and film students. Those who came to the Power Gems stand were interested in seeing our latest line of HMI and LED power supplies.
