Xenon ballasts a big hit at LDI show
Power Gems are back from America, and a successful trip to Live Design International (LDI) in Las Vegas (23-25 October).
We came away from the biggest entertainment lighting show with a number of substantial orders, and much interest from beyond our immediate network of contacts in the film and TV industry, says Patrick:
“Ninety per cent of the conversation was about our new Xenon product. It was full-on, with meetings from start to finish when, reluctantly, we had to leave as the Convention Centre was closing.”
More and more of those we talked to, spoke of the need for higher power Xenon ballasts for their existing fixtures. These fixtures have fallen out of use, due to the lack – until now – of reliable and efficient ballasts for today’s demanding markets.
