Recruitment in Los Angeles – graduate level engineer to join Power Gems
We’re looking for a graduate engineer to join our expanding team in Los Angeles. As such, Power Gems will be attending the California State University Northridge Fall Career Fair on October 28. The career fair, one of the biggest in California, is closest to our facility in Van Nuys, where the new role has been created.
The permanent full-time position is to provide technical support for Power Gems products in the North American market – helping to service and repair our range of high speed electronic ballasts. Right now we’re growing fast, with the opening of a facility in Atlanta last January, and continued expansion in Los Angeles.
We are always looking to recruit the best graduates to join Power Gems, but other entry routes will be considered for suitably experienced candidates.
We’re looking to recruit for technical ability but also the right attitude and enthusiasm. All new employees undergo factory training and after a short assessment period in LA, the successful candidate will be brought over to our headquarters in Irlam, outside Manchester, United Kingdom, for a 4-8 week induction course. Even the more experienced members of our team, such as Carlos in LA, regularly return for further training. With Phil continually making new additions and updates to our 20 different lines of ballasts, we’re fully committed to maintaining high standards of after-sales support.
