Compact 2.5-6V to 12V Booster
GEMboost pure
GEMboost is designed to allow 12V LEDs or LED ribbon to be powered from a convenient USB Power Bank or Li-Ion cell for those occasions when a mains PSU or 12V battery isn’t available. The unit will operate all the way down to 2.5V, so a single Li-Ion cell is sufficient in compact applications such as building into props.
The pure version of GEMboost comes without an enclosure to achieve the smallest possible size. The circuit has protection against excessive input voltage, output current, and temperature.
