2.5-6V to 12V booster
GEMboost
GEMboost is designed to allow 12V LEDs or LED ribbon to be powered from a convenient USB Power Bank or Li-Ion cell for those occasions when a mains PSU or 12V battery isn’t available. The unit will operate all the way down to 2.5V, so a single Li-Ion cell is sufficient in compact applications such as building into props. It comes encased in a rugged aluminium enclosure to withstand the daily rigours on set. The circuit has protection against excessive input voltage, output current, and temperature.
