A 19-inch rack-mounted ballast designed for continuous 9kW operation even in high ambient temperatures, the EB1X900 is perfect for stacking where space is restricted and weight limitations apply. The most compact and powerful rack-mounting ballast on the market, it is packed full of advanced power electronics in an impressive 3U (132.5mm) high unit and features a comprehensive control interface for easy integration with most common control systems.The standard enclosure format and compact size make this product ideal for industrial use or ‘ballast farms’ in theatrical, TV, and entertainment applications. The light output is ‘flicker-free’ and so will not interact with cameras even at frame rates up to 10,000fps.

In 2009, Power Gems launched a unique modular design for its range of high-speed ballasts. This tried-and-tested design allows you to pop out the faulty module and repair it later at your leisure.
